WIREWORKS LIVE

WIREWORKS LIVE

The debut self-titled album from Wireworks (ex Lee Van Cleef, Lucky Pineapple, Madame Machine) is streaming now on all platforms. Never Nervous Records will release a limited amount of physical copies on cassette — the tapes will be ready to buy online this Friday, 9/24. The cassette will also be available for purchase at the band’s next show this Saturday, 9/25 at The Merryweather. This will be part of the Schnitzelburg Fall Walk, and Wireworks is scheduled to go on at 5pm. Also on the bill are Bird Zoo, Ted Tyro, Bungalow Betty, among others. See you there!

So what do Wireworks sound like? The music could generally be described as post punk with gothic rock and new wave vibes. Recommended to fans of The Cure, Echo & The Bunnymen, and Bauhaus. Perfect for rainy days and black coffee that you drink out of a shitty generic black mug.

Wireworks is David Cundiff – Vocals, Guitar, Synthesizer; Russel Willoughby – Bass; Austin Hellman – Drums and Jake Miller – Guitar, Synthesizer. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jake Miller at The Slaughtered Lamb in Louisville, KY.
